Training Program Management: 8-koi coordinated the delivery of high-impact courses such as Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC), Combat Life Saver (CLS), and Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS), maintaining a 100% certification success rate. Curriculum Expansion: 8-koi introduced new courses, including All Hazards Disaster Response (AHDR) and Tactical Emergency Casualty Care for First Responders (TECC-LEO), to meet evolving mission requirements. Operational Continuity: During the COVID-19 telework period, 8-koi rapidly adapted training schedules and secured alternative facilities to ensure uninterrupted certification for medical staff. Sustainment and Evaluation: Using industry-recognized effectiveness models, 8-koi continually monitored performance outcomes, earning superior ratings for quality and reliability of training services.

The 8-koi medical supply line of business has been working hard and filling purchase orders to get scarce and critical supplies to organizations in need during the COVID-19 pandemic.

8-koi has provided medical supplies, PPE, and pharmaceuticals to support client COVID-19 Alternative Care Sites. 8-koi’s rapid response to RFQs and Awards has secured its position as the primary supplier on multiple efforts. 8-koi is a licensed McKesson reseller. Medical supplies sold include N95/KN95/3-ply/custom masks, Tyvex Suits, Nitrile gloves, shoe covers, surface disinfectants.

8-koi provides qualified support to various Directorates and Departments at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) in Bethesda, Maryland to include managed care administration and scheduling, emergency medical dispatch, healthcare enrollment verification, discharge protocol, direct care personnel training, patient education, risk assessment and quality assurance, reporting, reception, and data entry.

8-koi provided the Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training, and Instrumentation’s (PEO STRI) with integration, verification, validation, and the fielding of a self contained turn key training ready Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TC3) Exportable REF capability to train Warrior Skill Level 1 4 at point of need. Kitting of REF Prototypes: 8-koi focused the logical kitting and packaging of the REF TC3 protype hardware and ancillary equipment into transient cases which optimized the configuration to support transportation, storage, and deployment of BDE packages. Validation of the REF TC3 Prototypes: 8-koi planned, supported, and implemented the verification and validation for the REF TC3 prototype configuration. Feilding of REF TC3 Prototypes: 8-koi supported the fielding of up to 8 BDE REF TC3 prototype packages for forward deployed units. Support of REF TC3 Prototypes: 8-koi implemented the sustainment strategy to include helpdesk support, providing metrics, repair, and replacement. Download the whitepaper.
