Joint Special Operations Medical Training Center

8-koi provided the U.S. Army Medical Research and Development Command (USAMRDC) at Fort Detrick with comprehensive medical training and support services, ensuring readiness and certification for nearly 2,000 personnel, including senior military leaders and specialized units. Training Program Management: 8-koi coordinated the delivery of high-impact courses such as Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC), Combat Life Saver (CLS), and Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS), maintaining a 100% certification success rate. Curriculum Expansion: 8-koi introduced new courses, including All Hazards Disaster Response (AHDR) and Tactical Emergency Casualty Care for First Responders (TECC-LEO), to meet evolving mission requirements. Operational Continuity: During the COVID-19 telework period, 8-koi rapidly adapted training schedules and secured alternative facilities to ensure uninterrupted certification for medical staff. Sustainment and Evaluation: Using industry-recognized effectiveness models, 8-koi continually monitored performance outcomes, earning superior ratings for quality and reliability of training services.

Acquisition and Procurement Support Services

Program Manager Training Systems (PM TRASYS)

The 8-koi team consists of four Sr. Contract Specialists engaged in life cycle procurement activities in support of the Contracting Division and the following three Product Managers within Program Manager Training Systems (PM TRASYS) in Orlando, FL. The Range Training Systems (RTS) supports the United States Marine Corps (USMC) bases and stations with live, Force-on-Force, Force-on-Target tactical engagement training tools/support, egress trainers and dynamic capabilities for real team and post mission battle tracking and After-Action Review. The Synthetic Training Systems (STS) acquires training systems that immerse Marine elements from crew to the Marine Expeditionary Forces in synthetic, simulated training environments. Their products provide tools for Marines to train both familiarity and functionality of weapons platform, basic and advanced combat convoy operations, and combat vehicle gunnery proficiency at their unit, local facilities, aboard ship, and at remote sites. The Training Systems Sustainment and Support Services (TS4) provides support services and lifecycle sustainment for all products procured by RTS and STS. Their portfolio includes contracting actions to provide role players to enhance training realism at each base.

US Army Geospatial Center

8-koi provides logistics and tactical source-enterprise solutions analyses for the US Army Geospatial Center’s BuckEye program at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. Our logistical experts analyze and coordinate production, distribution, utilization, internal allocation, disposition, and management of multi-site, national, and international logistical resources. Our analyst receives all CONUS and OCONUS collected data from aerial and ground collection platforms to document, assess, process, archive, disseminate, replicate, correct and maintain various data products. We also perform processing, uploading, cataloging, and QC/QA of LiDAR imagery and formats such as mosaics and orthorectified images.

Management Support Services

Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR)

8-koi provides administrative and acquisition related support services to the Sea Warrior Program (PMW 240) in Orlando, Florida and Arlington, Virginia. The Sea Warrior Program manages a complex portfolio of information technology (IT) systems that enable the Navy to support Navy human resource management, criminal justice, fleet Support, afloat business applications, Navy and DoD portfolio management, DON administration, and joint aviation aircraft scheduling. PMW 240’s mission is to rapidly identify and implement affordable IT solutions to Navy business and readiness problems for Sailors, the fleet, Navy, and other customers.
