Women Rising on the Space Coast: Sirena Ozzello

We are grateful to Brevard Business News for turning the spotlight on 8-koi’s Divisional Program Analyst, Sirena Ozzello, for her leadership and lasting impact on women in defense and business along Florida’s Space Coast.

Sirena has spent the past nine years supporting 8-koi’s business development programs while building a career rooted in service, collaboration and professional growth. Her journey with 8-koi began as a summer intern while enrolled in the Melbourne High School Business Academy, an early start that reflects her long-standing commitment to excellence and leadership.

Beyond her role at 8-koi, Sirena serves as President of Women in Defense Space Coast (WIDSC), where she is recognized for fostering an inclusive business environment that supports both women and men through strategic networking, education and career development. Under her leadership, WIDSC has advanced initiatives focused on promoting science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education for young women on the Space Coast, including fundraising efforts that provide scholarships to local students.

Sirena holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting from the University of Central Florida. Her career path and community involvement exemplify the impact of investing in people, education and opportunity — values that align closely with 8-koi’s mission and culture.
