Valid until August 16, 2027, 8-koi’s Economically-Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB) certificate awarded by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) allows our firm to participate in the Women-Owned Small Business Federal Contract Program (WOSB Program), as set forth in Title 13, Part 127 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR).

The Women-Owned Small Business Federal Contract Program (WOSB Program) is to help provide a level playing field for women business owners. The Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) Federal Contract Program allows set-asides for WOSBs in industries where firms are underrepresented. WOSBs must be at least 51% owned and controlled by women.

To continue participation, 8-koi must undergo a program examination every three years conducted by SBA or a third-party certifier. 8-koi participated in the SBA’s 8(a) Program from 2013 until graduation in 2023.
